Research Opportunities

Grants for research and internships are available through many of the centers and research groups on campus. Currently more than 200 undergraduate students work one-on-one with faculty mentors on independent research through the James O. Freedman Presidential Scholars program. Throughout the College, student stipends supported by research doubled from $3 million in 2000 to $6.3 million in 2005. Graduate students should check with individual programs or their divisions to find out more about research in their fields of interest.
